Saturday was the family get together at Mark and Gaila’s place. It was a gathering of the Uyeda’s, Tanabe’s, Imai’s and Okashimo’s. One of the appetizer’s was a somen noodle server. Fumie brought it from Japan.

It was pretty cool, the somen went around with the flow of cold water. You dipped your hashi in to pickup the somen noodles.

Mark and Carey bbq’d burgers, dogs and sausages.

There were approximately 32 guests, including some who we haven’t seen in a long time.

Claudia brought her die for the Saikoro game.

This is Saoirse, she is Jennifer Post’s youngest daughter.

This one had everyone at the party in the photo, everyone was watching Lily and Caris running off for a water break.

There were glow sticks for the kids.

It was a great day, the weather was perfect, food was plentiful and was great catching up with long lost relatives.
