On Sunday we got together with our neighbours for our first annual Rainwater Ribfest. Lars did up some smoked ribs and chicken in an electric smoker. We had tried it out a couple of weeks ago and we planned on the long weekend. Susan made some pulled pork in the crock pot.

We also had potatoes, corn, and chicken wings.

Angela and Gillian braiding Madyson’s hair after dinner. We followed up with brownies and cheesecake and ice cream. It was a great evening with our neighbours. Claudia said it’s kind of funny that we called it “Rainwater” Ribfest when it was only our two families, to which I replied “we are Rainwater!”.
