We headed down to the Canadian National Exhibition on Saturday morning, we had been debating on whether to go and when to go. With Gillian working through the week, it left the weekends, Angela had gone with Dylan’s family last week, so it was just the four of us. Claudia wanted to do a few rides, here they are on The Crazy Mouse.
They went on the Polar Express, it seemed like it was less than a minute long.
Waiting in line for the Tower Swing. They did the rides first so they didn’t encounter any long line-ups.
The Fire Ball.
We caught some of the Air Show. Here are the Breitling Jet Team. They are based out of France.
They fly in Czech Aero L-39 Albatros jets.
We came out of The Farm building to watch the U.S. Navy F/A 18F Super Hornet.
Back to the cows in the farm building.
Gillian and Claudia with their catch.
Gillian holding her fish.
Claudia got a new sunglasses, you can see Susan and I in the reflections.
After lunch we walked down the midway.
We were kind of following a guy down the midway watching him play the throwing games, either breaking the plates or beer bottles. He kept getting the first one, but then would miss the second one. Each time he would stop and play, not sure if he eventually won.
We rode the Sky Ride.
The girls have done this in the past, but it was the first time for Susan and I.
It was starting to get busy.
Claudia wanted a slushie, we spotted the booth from above.
It was good day at the Ex, we had to get back home to feed Chloe, our usual help (Dylan) is off to college in Timmins and no longer available. We are trying to find a replacement. We did the Enercare Centre Shoppers Market and warehouse outlets at the end and it was getting packed. We had parked in the underground parking, so it was easy getting out and only took us about 35 minutes to get home.
