On Saturday morning we headed into the city for the Obon ceremony at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The crowds are dwindling.

They had an additional service for the Skeena River Memorial. They filled two bags with dirt from the cemeteries at Prince Rupert and Port Essington and brought them to be interred in Mount Pleasant. The minister was Yoshimichi Ouchi, he said to call him Yoshi.
