Welcome to tanabe.ca, a blog to share the memorable or not so memorable moments of life in our family. After a long hiatus, Rainwater Rambling is back on track. The name is the same, but the blog is a little different. I have switched web hosting providers and I am now going to blog with WordPress web software.

The old software was called “Blog” and it was an offline product that allowed for posts to be done and then uploaded. It served its purpose, but there has been very little development on the software.

WordPress is one of the blogging standards and allows for blog posts to be done from any computer or portable device with internet. The old blog sites are still available from the links on the side.

Some of the differences are more web hosting space allows me to add a link to each photo which will open a larger photo. Comments can be added to each post. The requirement for your name and e-mail is to prevent spam. The information is not shared in any way.
