RAINWATER RAMBLING

Due to time zones, I have had time to update the work blog with last weeks trip to Head of Bay D'Espoir and yesterdays trip out to the west coast. Visit From Here To There.

I'm finally getting around to updating the blog. It has been a few weeks, part of the reason is not being at home to see what's going on. I have been in the field the last two weeks, first I was down in Nova Scotia for a week and then last week I was out in Newfoundland. Tomorrow I fly out to Victoria for a week on Saturna Island.

I think the girls still remember who I am. Other than school, Guides, Brownies, Sparks, and swimming, things haven't been too exciting. Last Monday Susan worked as an election official for the Municipal Election. She was a Tabulator, she fed the ballots into the counting machine. She had about 1300 people come through her poll. Being federal, I had the day off for Remembrance Day.

It's been over a month since Carla died, still different without her around. Last week Susan found a dead mouse in one of our recycle bins, that never happened when Carla was around. The other difference is not opening our patio door blinds, some days it doesn't get pulled. Carla like to look out the back so we use to open it first thing in the morning.
