FROM HERE TO THERE...

Another one of those Lobster's found around Halifax. This one is at the airport.

I picked the right day to head down to Kejimkujik this week. If I had booked for yesterday I would still be at the airport. A lot of flights were canceled yesterday due to the nor'easter storm. I thought I was pretty smart until I got to the Air Canada Cargo office to pick up my equipment which I sent down ahead of me. Too bad it was scheduled on one of the canceled flights. It had since been bumped from a couple of flights and wasn't due in until 5:00 in the afternoon. My choices were to hang around Halifax and wait for it or head down to the site and try to repair what was there. I headed down and fortunately was able to get the instrument working.

The sun was out and the temperature was around zero.

This morning while I was waiting for my flight, I saw Eddie Shack.

He was waiting for a flight to Calgary, but was sitting over in the Halifax waiting area with a couple of other guys. Did you know he won 4 Stanley Cups and made 3 All-star appearances?
