RAINWATER RAMBLING

After my trip to the east coast, I got a little lazy and a bit busy, but I'm back hopefully to more regular updates. I'll fill in some dates, so read on. Tonight I'm in North Bay, will try and update with some of the pictures from the Marten River site.

Much of our time has been preparing for Gillian's Guide Parent-Daughter Banquet. The third-year mothers traditionally organize it. Susan and another mother have stepped up and they came up with a Japanese theme. So Gillian and I have been making origami flowers to use a centre pieces for the tables. We fold the flowers and Susan makes the stems.

It was a great weekend weather wise. The girls spent most of it outside.

I made a quick trip down to Frelighsburg, Quebec to pick up some equipment. I posted a couple of photos on the work blog.

The girls did well on their report cards again. Claudia did very good. Angela and Gillian both received Recognition Awards for "Learning/Academic".

I was off to the Experimental Lakes Area this week. It is just south east of Kenora, Ontario. Check it out on the work blog.

I reached my first pro level in Wii Sports, it took me 27 games to reach Pro.

We had the Easter dinner for Susan's family. It was the first chance for them to play the Wii. Eric and Colin (or is it Patrick) playing tennis.
