Overdue Updates
The updates to the blog have been a little slow last month. Either the
girls were home and I was away or the girls were away and I was home.
They spent a week at Carolyn and Danny's in mid July. The girls were
happy to hear they finally got air conditioning as they have had a few
hot days in years past. They were home the following week when I was in
Chalk River for a few days. Our street was living up to its name, when
it rains this summer it really rains, almost in buckets.
The last week of July they were out to Hamilton for a week with Lori. I
think they have webbed feet after being in the pool all week.

We celebrated Susan's birthday on friday when we picked up the girls.
They made a couple of ice cream cakes, they were delicious.

Breaking Dawn
We weren't quite breaking dawn, but it was early morning when we got
home. After getting home from Lori's the girls decided they were going
to stay up to count down the "Breaking Dawn" book being released. This
was the fourth and final installment of the Twilight saga by Stephanie
Mayer. Gillian has been waiting for the release of this novel. Since
the girls were up I asked Gillian if she wanted to go line up and buy it
at Chapters. The one closest to us was open late/early to start selling
copies at 12:00 am. We got to the store around 11:45pm and there were
tons of people, there were two lines, one for the people who pre-ordered
and one for the rest of us. Once we found the end of the line, as it
snaked its way through the shelves, we thought it would take awhile.
However once they started selling the books, the line moved quicker than
I thought, it was less than half an hour and we were home by 12:45 am.
Angela came with us and she found 29¢ near the cash. Here is a picture
of Gillian with her book looking happy and Angela looking a little tired.

Trip Blog...
I have been working on the trip blog, it's less than a couple of weeks
before our adventure begins. I should be able to update fairly often,
with the exception of Disney World, I may save up posts as I imagine
I'll be tired at the end of the day and the internet access isn't free,
something like $9.95 for a 24 hour period. I have added a link at the

We're Back
We had a great time on our trip to Walt Disney World and made it back
late Friday night. We travelled close to 4800 km and stayed in places
like Cave City, Kentucky; Marietta, Georgia; Orlando, Florida; Cocoa
Beach, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina. The girls really enjoyed
themselves in Walt Disney World and later on the beach and in the waves
