Gillian turned into a teenager this year. Where have the years gone? It was a busy night, Gillian went to Boston Pizza with her Pathfinder group for dinner and Angela was at Wal-mart with her Guide group and Susan, Claudia and I were at the school for a meeting for the Advent mass.

The girls had a P.A. Day today, it was parent-teacher interviews yesterday and today. Susan and I went yesterday afternoon and met with the girls teachers. The girls all did very well on their report cards. It was my day off so we went to the mall this morning to see Santa. It was a long wait, but the girls had their DS's, so they were occupied. Here they are as we are getting close.

Afterwards we went to see Susan at work, the girls haven't been in to her office since she moved. We brought our own lunch.

Gillian had a party with a few of her girlfriends, they went to see the movie Twilight and then they came back to the house for some pizza and cupcakes.
Angela, Claudia and I went to get our Christmas Tree. We went to the place in Oakville where they hang the trees from the rafters. The pickings aren't as good on a Sunday, I imagine yesterday must have been pretty busy. They hang new trees but the branches hadn't fallen so it was harder to tell what they looked like.

The Arts teacher at Claudia's school organized a Christmas Concert for the primary grades. It was a good show.
Claudia was one of the angels and she had to lead the SK/JK's across the stage.
Before the show started, Claudia was accidently whacked in the eye by the innkeepers cane. Here is Claudia after the show and you can see her eye is a little puffy.
Tonight was Claudia's last night of Brownies before the holidays, it was bring your Dad to help decorate a Gingerbread House. They had it at the local Superstore, she was able to decorate it, b ut unable to eat it. Here she is with her creation.
Today the girls received their first term awards for their hard work. It was also Santa Hat day if you couldn't tell.
Both Claudia and Angela received awards for "Living The Virtues" for having demonstrated one or more of Faith, Empathy and Conscience. Only three students per class were given the award. Here is Claudia after receiving her award.

There was a new Muppet Christmas Special on television tonight. I'm glad to see they are still developing Muppet specials. This one was called "A Muppet Christmas - Letters to Santa", there was a good mix of original Muppet Show and Muppets Tonight characters.

They called this storm almost to the hour, shortly after 7:00am the snow started to fall. They cancelled the school buses, but the girls still went to school. Angela and Gillian walked and I drove Claudia in. I only shovelled 5 or 6 times during the day. Here is Claudia after school playing in the snowbank.

We were out to Lori and Dale's on Boxing Day for round two. After a long day Claudia and Nike were tired.
